JRCC
was formed in 1945 and is one of the oldest, continuing photography
clubs in Virginia. Our mission is to offer programs and activities of
interest to the beginning photographer as well as the professional. We
have a number of professionals in our membership who contribute
exceptional programs frequently for our membership and guests. We
aspire to advance the art and craft of photography aesthetically and
technically for all who wish to participate.
Our next meeting will be Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 7:00pm. Come join us and bring a friend. The meeting place is yet to be determined.
Membership
Membership is open to persons
who have attended one previous meeting and wish to join. Annual dues
are $25.00 for individuals, $35.00 for families, and $5.00 for
students. Those who join mid-year will pay a prorated fee. Please make
checks payable to James River Camera Club.
Meetings
Meetings are scheduled from September through June
on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm. Due to a change
in the Yorktown Library system, we will be alternating meeting places
more frequently, so please be sure to check the web site for the
meeting place before you leave to come. Check the contacts page for who
you may call for information.
